What if I need a further cardiac examination?

Basic  heart investigations like ECG ,2DECHO and stress test/TMT available at center .Depending upon patients necessity patient may be advised for coronary angiography &/or angioplasty as per patients preference.

Will the Muktai Heart Care Clinic provide heart diagnostics?

Yes we can guide patient to confirm or rule out heart diseases.

Are my medical records kept confidential and confidential?

Your medical file is treated with the utmost respect for your privacy. Our staff is bound by strict confidentiality requirements regarding your medical records as a condition of employment. We will  not remove the contents of your medical file without your permission.

Do I need to fast before any testing?

Some tests, such as pressure testing, will require you to refrain from eating or drinking caffeine for 2 hours before your visit. Some tests, such as an echocardiogram, do not require dietary restrictions. During your scheduled test, you will be given detailed instructions on how to prepare for your particular exam.

How is my heart catheterization or angioplasty organized?

You will be given choice from nearby hospitals where this facility is available. We  will discuss with you the requirements for a pre-procedure test, the instructions to follow before the procedure, and the time and place of the procedure. The doctor is also available to respond to and discuss any issues related to your upcoming procedure.

What is a heart attack?

A heart attack refers to the death of the heart muscle tissue, which is caused by a sudden blockage. Often the formation of clots in the formation of cholesterol is called plaques.
